Brooklyn's We Are Scientists makes energetic dance-rock and will hit Club Congress Tuesday.
Opening are Montreal's The Stills and Tucson's The Static Session at the outdoor show.
Tickets are $15, and doors open at 7 p.m. All ages.

Yes, after 14 years, Boston's New Kids on the Block — the original bubblegum boy band —- are returning to see if they've still got the right stuff.
Some say it's 14 years too soon, but they'll be taking it step-by-step.

Houston's Hayes Carll at Plush Tuesday
Lost Highway Records, home to Ryan Adams and Elvis Costello, obviously has good taste.
Hayes Carll, a country-folk singer-songwriter from Houston, is on Lost Highway, and he'll be stopping by Plush Tuesday, with Austin's The Dedringers opening up.
The show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 day of show.

Amie Miriello is opener for Bob Schneider
Poppy Connecticut singer-songwriter Amie Miriello will be opening up for Austin's Bob Schneider at Club Congress Wednesday.
Miriello recalls Vanessa Carlton, with her piano playing and versatile singing.
Tickets are $15, and doors open at 8 p.m.

Keller Williams doing solo show at the Rialto
Keller Williams, a one-man jam band, visits the Rialto Theatre next Thursday.
Williams recently released a live album, which saw him collaborating with bassist Keith Moseley (The String Cheese Incident), guitarist Gibb Droll and drummer Jeff Sipe (Leftover Salmon).
But Williams will play the Rialto solo. Tickets are $22 in advance and $24 day of show. Showtime is 8 p.m.
