Tucson Sidewinders Star-Spangled Spectacular at Tucson Electric Park
Celebrate a day early as the Sidewinders take on the Fresno Grizzlies. Patriotic music will be synchronized with the fireworks to top off an all-American night.

• When: Gates open at 4:30 p.m., game starts at 6 p.m Thursday. (This is not a Thirsty Thursday). Fireworks should begin around 9 p.m., about 15 minutes after the game ends.

Casino Del Sol
Sol Casinos celebrates its 14th anniversary with fireworks Thursday night. The Latin band Passion then performs inside on Stage 21.

JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa
Only for registered resort guests, or those with barbecue and restaurant reservations Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The resort has fireworks tonight and Saturday. Guests watch the city's display Friday.

Independence Day Celebration in Oro Valley
Presented by the Greater Oro Valley Arts Council and Oro Valley, the event includes music, food and drink, face-painting, carnival games and a fireworks display originating from the Hilton El Conquistador Resort.

• When: Starts at 4:30 p.m. Friday.
• Cost: A nonperishable food donation for the Catalina Food Bank.
• Shuttle: $1 donation per rider. Runs from about 4 p.m. through 10:30 p.m. from the Mercado Del Rio Center (quarter-mile west of North Oracle Road on Pusch View Lane) and the Fry's/Ace Hardware parking lot (northeast corner of Lambert Lane and La Cañada Drive).

Old Tucson Studios Celebrates Freedom
Western-themed family activities, stunt shows, water games, classic rock by Trainwreck and fireworks.

• When: The park opens at 10 a.m. Saturday. Trainwreck performs from 7 to 9:30 p.m. and the fireworks start about 9:30.

Fourth of July Celebration at Rancho Sahuarita Lake Amphitheatre
