The Made in the Shade Beer Tasting Festival features more than 100 specialty and microbrews, including Tucson beers like Nimbus. There's also live music, food and exhibits for those at least 21. Like the Great Tucson Beer Festival, this is an annual fundraiser for Sun Sounds of Arizona.

• When: 3-7:30 p.m., July 12.

• Where: Coconino County Fairgrounds, off Interstate 17 at Exit 337.

• Tickets: $40 general admission until July 11, or $50 at the gate. VIP tickets are $80 in advance and $90 at the gate. Designated-driver tickets are $15 general admission and $30 VIP.
