If you go to the MySpace page of The Spill Canvas, you'll see a ton of comments from gushing teenage girls.
Here's an encapsulation of the sentiments:
"OMG, you guyz are totes amazing!!11!! I love you 4 life!!1! Can't wait 4 your show! Best band eva! So hawt!"
And to Spill Canvas' credit, it could be the biggest band ever out of South Dakota.
For everybody else, though, the group makes relatively toothless, loverboy pop-rock, like Fall Out Boy or Plain White T's.
The Spill Canvas will be playing with St. Louis' Ludo, New Jersey's Steel Train and Philadelphia's Liam and Me.
The all-ages show is Monday night at The Rock, 136 N. Park Ave. Doors open at 6 p.m., and tickets are $14 at ticketmaster.com.
