The show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35, with discounts available, through the Tucson Jazz Society, 903-1265.
Up next is Pete Escovedo, famed Latin jazz percussionist and brother to Austin rocker Alejandro Escovedo.
Pete has played and recorded with some of the best of the best. Carlos Santana, Al Jarreau, Poncho Sanchez and Cal Tjader are among a long list of names who have featured his work.
His Latin Jazz Sextet will perform at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, 7000 N. Resort Road.
They take the stage at 7 p.m. Tickets are $40-$85, with discounts available. 903-1265.
