Johnjay and Rich cross state lines, keep going?
Radio personalities Johnjay and Rich made their Colorado Springs debut on Monday, expanding their reach beyond their Arizona base.
The pair — Johnjay Van Es and Rich Berra — took over the morning slot on KVUU "My 99.9" in their first move outside of the state. According to a press release, it might be the first of many states as the pair looks to "add more members to the dysfunctionally fun family."
The show originated in Tucson and is now based out of Phoenix. It airs on 93.7-FM KRQ in Tucson and 104.7 KISS FM in Phoenix and features celebrity interviews (real and imagined) and giveaways that make headlines, including one that attracted the attention last fall of TV host Ellen DeGeneres.
DeGeneres had Johnjay, Rich and sidekick Carrie on her show to present a contest winner with a new car.
