Besides having one of the better DJ names around, Montreal's spinning veteran Kid Koala will play Club Congress on April 28.
Kid released a CD in 2006, "Your Mom's Favorite DJ," and has long been a fave on the DJ circuit.
To warm up for the Congress show, he hit the road earlier this year with DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist.
Kid Koala got started around 1996, so expect a quality show from a turntable vet.
DJ Jester The Filipino Fist will open the show. Tickets are $10; doors open at 7 p.m.
