US Airways is cutting its non-stop flight between Tucson and Charlotte, N.C., next year, the airline said Friday.
The short-lived service began service in June, and its last flight is Jan. 4, 2009. Those with tickets on Tucson-Charlotte flights past Jan. 4 will be contacted about other arrangements, a spokesman said.
Since the beginning of the year, Tucson International Airport has lost non-stop flights to more than a dozen cities.
Charlotte is one of US Air’s largest hubs.
