New exec named at Capital Pacific
Roy F. Beagle has been named southern division manager of mortgage lending for Capital Pacific Mortgage Corp., 333 N. Wilmot Road, Suite 10.
Beagle specializes in reverse mortgages for seniors but will also handle FHA, VA and conventional home loans.
Beagle previously was an independent lender's representative for 14 years and served as manager of the homeowner credit-lines division of Pima Savings and Loan for 10 years.
Fairbanks joins The Caliber Group
The Caliber Group, a marketing and public relations firm, has hired Carissa Fairbanks as office administrator.
In her new position, Fairbanks is responsible for office management, bookkeeping assistance, and administrative, computer and clerical support.
Fairbanks has more than eight years of administrative experience and most recently served as the office manager for Monsoon Marketing, an event management and consulting firm.
Account exec hired at Tucson Chamber
Marilyn Myers has joined the membership services staff of the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce as an account executive.
Myers comes to the chamber after 18 months in property management at Nordstrom Group. She also spent several years as an independent contractor focusing on legal services. She returned to Tucson in 1998 after spending time in Phoenix.
VP appointed at window, door firm
Architectural Traditions, a Tucson manufacturer of custom wood windows and doors, has named Kathryn Severance vice president and treasurer.
Severance joined the company in April 2007 as controller. In her new role, she is responsible for information technology, accounting, finance and risk management. The company employs 300 people locally.
A native of Michigan, Severance is a graduate of Michigan State University's school of business and hold an MBA from Long Island (N.Y.) University.
Moga named VP at Northern Trust
Northern Trust has hired Jeanette Moga as a vice president and private banker at the bank's office at 6444 E. Tanque Verde Road.
Moga has more than 20 years of experience in banking. Before joining Northern Trust, she was chief financial officer of Cell Trees Inc. in Tucson, and before that was a banking center manager at Bank of America.
Her career began in 1984 at First Federal Savings, where she served as a teller, personal banker, assistant manager and banking center manager.
Alster is hired at Planning Center
Ellen Barth Alster has joined The Planning Center as a landscape architect and project manager.
She will be responsible for concept development, recreational planning and design, construction documents and construction administration, as well as assisting with customer relations and business development.
Alster has nearly 25 years of landscape architecture experience and has practiced in Arizona, Louisiana, Michigan and the Eastern United States. She also has taught landscape design at Pima Community College.
Alster has a master's degree in landscape architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from Michigan State University.
