The Arizona Builders' Alliance has agreed to conduct apprenticeship training programs at Catalina Magnet High School, 3645 E. Pima St.
The Builders' Alliance signed an agreement with the Tucson Unified School District Thursday to lease space at the school for $1 per year, an alliance news release says.
The alliance will provide $25,000 for renovating the 1,900-square-foot site and donate about $75,000 worth of equipment for training in work related to heating, ventilation and air conditioning, the release says.
The facility will be used for The Arizona Builders' Alliance apprenticeship training from 4 to 9 p.m. and by the school for vocational training earlier in the day, the release says.
