Three in changes at UA tech park
Molly Gilbert has been promoted to assistant director for the University of Arizona Office of Economic Development at the UA Science and Technology Park, maintaining community, public and media relations. Gilbert has worked in economic development at the park since 2002 and previously was director of public and media relations.
In other changes, Ken Marcus has transferred his duties as director of the UA tech park. He continues as chief financial officer for the tech park and the Arizona Center for Innovation, a business incubator, and expands his duties as CFO for the planned Arizona Bioscience Park and the Arizona Research Park Authority.
Marshall Worden has reassumed the duties of director of the tech park, responsible for day-to-day operations as well as management of the park's expansion plans.
LP&G marketing promotes two
LP&G Inc., a local marketing agency, promoted Kristina Toft from graphic designer to senior designer. In addition to design, she assists with art direction and supervises multimedia projects. Toft joined LP&G in 2005.
LP&G also promoted Mary Jo Van Gilder to the position of office administrator.
Previously a public-relations coordinator, Van Gilder has been with LP&G since 1999.
Ortelli joins Mark Irvin firm
Edward Ortelli has joined Mark Irvin Commercial Real Estate Services LLC as a sales agent.
Before joining the company, he managed sales departments at television stations in Toledo, Ohio; Raleigh, N.C.; Tampa, Fla.; and Houston, and he was general sales manager for KVOA-TV, Channel 4 in Tucson, from 2002 to 2005.
