Dr. Almeida named nuclear medicine director
Dr. Fabio Almeida has been named director of nuclear medicine clinical services by the University of Arizona/University Medical Center department of radiology.
Almeida joined the faculty at the University of Arizona in 2005 and previously was in private practice.
He is an assistant professor of clinical radiology and also the medical director of the Southwest PET/CT Institute, an affiliate of the University of Arizona Telemedicine Program.
Rivera joins Voices for Education staff
Rachel Rivera has joined the staff of the non-profit Voices for Education, as development and community relations director.
She will be responsible for grant research, special events, fundraising and community outreach. Rivera was a volunteer with Voices for Education for four years before taking her new position.
Sproul to manage Benson branch office
Realtor Pam Sproul has joined RealEstate.com as agent and branch manager of the company's new office in Benson at 108 S. Huachuca St. Formerly with Long Realty, Sproul has eight years' experience in real estate.
Lizard Rock manager gets architect registration
Megan Donges, project manager for Lizard Rock Designs LLC, received registration from the Arizona Board of Technical Registration as a professional registered architect.
Donges has worked with Lizard Rock Designs for about two years and has worked in commercial architecture in the Tucson area for more than six years.
Soreo Services names executive director
Kevin D. Wong has been named executive director for Soreo Select Custom Home Care Services.
Wong previously was regional director for the Tucson office of Soreo In Home Support Services LLC, which provides in-home support services for the elderly and the developmentally disabled in Tucson, Casa Grande and Mesa. Soreo Select provides personal care and housekeeping services.
Hartmann to head Sunnyside Foundation
Nicola Hartmann has been named the first executive director of the Sunnyside Unified School District Foundation. Hartmann most recently operated her own consulting company and previously served as director of development for Child and Family Resources.
