U.S. Border Patrol agents on Wednesday arrested a Mexican illegal entrant who was driving a poorly painted van designed to look like a FedEx vehicle, officials said.
An agent watched a white Ford van with the words FedEx painted on its side headed east at about 6:30 a.m. on Ruby Road near Nogales.
Noting that the lettering was poorly painted, the agent followed the van, eventually pulling it over and arresting the 32-year-old driver, the sole occupant. The name of the arrested man was not available Thursday.
Several bags of food and bottles of water were found inside the van.
