Elle Wine Country Restaurant is continuing its pairing menus into the fall.
During most of October, you can get two courses with wines for $35 per person.
The menu focuses on Napa Valley, Calif., with a first course of warm bay scallop salad tossed with baby field greens, paired with a glass of Carr Sauvignon Blanc 2005. The second course is pan-seared beef tenderloin with mushroom and red potato gratin, served with a glass of Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon 2003, which usually sells for $19 a glass or $119 a bottle.
