Local musician Howe Gelb will play a last-minute show tonight at Club Congress, 311 E. Congress St.

Gelb will be performing as part of his collective, Arizona Amp and Alternator, which will also feature Arcade Fire drummer Jeremy Gara and potentially more special guests.

The show is said to be more rocking and electric than Gelb's solo acoustic April 17 show at St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church.

Opening is Canadian songstress Kate Maki at 9 p.m.
