More than 70 nonprofit organizations will sell tamales and compete to have their tamales named the best-tasting during today's Tamal and Heritage Festival at Casino del Sol's AVA, 5655 W. Valencia Road. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free; tamale tasting is extra. For more information, call 1-800-344-9435.
