Free Agent

December 9, 1999:
Forte Inc. (the developer of Free Agent) has released Free Agent 1.21. This upgrade was released to fix year 2000 issues.

According to Forte Inc., versions of Free Agent prior to 1.21 are not year 2000 compliant by their definition.

Forte Inc. has released Agent 1.6 which includes updates to make the product meet their definition of year 2000 compliance.

Agent is the commercial version of the Free Agent newsreader. Agent 1.6 is a free upgrade for those that purchase Agent 1.5.

The latest version of Agent is 1.7 (as of December 9, 1999).
