2. Go to Start--Find--Files or Folders.
3. In the Named box, type in news.rc
4. Double click on the file it finds.
5. If it brings up a box asking what program to use to view the file, select Notepad.
6. A notepad window should come up with your list of newsgroups followed by numbers. Delete all the numbers.
7. Go up to File and select Save.
8. Go up to File and select Exit.
9. Go back to Netscape News and all the articles should appear.
2. In Windows, go to the Main program group.
3. Double click on File Manager.
4. Go up to File and select Search.
5. In the Search For box type in *.rc
6. Click on Search.
7. In the search list, highlight the NEWS.RC file under the Netscape directory.
8. Go up to File and select Associate.
9. Set it to a Text document (notepad.exe) and click on Ok.
10. Double click on NEWS.RC
11. A notepad window should come up with your list of newsgroups followed by numbers. Delete all the numbers.
12. Go up to File and select Save.
13. Go up to File and select Exit.
14. Go back to Netscape News and all the articles should appear.
