Communicator Spam Filters

You may want to read through the instructions before actually going through them since you may not be able to see your browser window at some points.


1. If you haven't created the folders and extra headers already, you need to follow the instructions on the Communicator Spam Filters page. Otherwise, these filters will not work.

2. Hold down the SHIFT key on the keyboard and click here. A window like the one below should appear.

Note: If you are using Internet Explorer, don't hold down the SHIFT key, just click on the link.


3. At the top of the window, click on the triangle pointing down. Scroll up the list until you see the C: drive. Click on it.

4. In the large box, double click on the Program Files folder.

5. Double click on Netscape folder.

6. Double click on Users folder.

7. Double click on the folder in there. (If you have multiple profiles, click on the folder with the same name of the profile with which you want you use the filters.)

8. Double click on the Mail folder.

9. Click on Save.

10. And then you should be all set.
