Setting Up Your Account


The following are instructions for a tool provided by StarNet to automatically set up your account for a web page.

You will want to reveiw or print out the instructions before going through them since you will not be able to see the instructions all the way through the steps.


1. Click on the link below.

2. It asks for your username and password. Enter those in.

Note: Your username is the three to eight character name you selected when you started the account. It must be entered in all lower case and without the capital "P".

The password is the string of eight letters and numbers given to you when you started the account. The password is case sensitive, so upper case and lower case letters are not the same thing.

3. Once the username and password have been entered, click on OK and you will be taken to the setup page.

4. Click on Set up the home page button.

5. It will create the directory, set it so the world can see the pages you put in there, and then send you mail once it's done.

Note: If you already have the directory, it'll just check to see that the directory is set so that people can see any files in it.

6. Once you get the email, you can begin uploading you homepage.
