HTML Editors

I'm not exactly the person to ask about HTML editing programs; I'm one of those people who fires up ye ol' text editor and starts typing. But below are links to sites with HTML editors.

Note: You'll probably see the acronym WYSIWYG frequently in reference to HTML editors. It stands for What You See Is What You Get; that is, what you see on the screen should be close to what should appear in a vistor's browser when they visit the page.

Windows

TUCOWS is good in that they have several locations across the US. They also have all the shareware/freeware programs available for download from the same site as the pages. Thus if you can pull up the web site quickly, downloading from that site should be fairly fast as well. The down side is that they only give you brief descriptions of the programs.
Generally, Strouds is the place to start when you aren't sure what you're looking for. Once you've found the program, or if you know the program you want, TUCOWS is the place to go.

Macintosh

Even though it's name may imply it's a PC-only site, TUCOWS is probably the best combination of user-friendliness and software availability for the Macintosh.
