The section at the top of the page is for people who already have already
created an account and came to this page by mistake. Clicking on
Login will take you to the page for registered users to access
their account.
The next section asks for some information:
Login Name
The login name is like the username for your
Internet access. It is a unique identifier for who you are. You will
want to write it down in case you forget it. Otherwise, you will not be
able to access your online storefront.
Password
Again, just like your Internet login, you need
to have a password to make sure you are the only one who can change
your storefront. Your password is that insurance. Again, you will want
to write this down and put it somewhere safe (
where you will
remember where it is). If you forget your password, you will
not be able to access your online storefront.
Note: For added security, when you type in the password,
only *'s will appear. However, the letters you type are being
entered.
Password confirmation
Since you cannot see the password when you enter
it, you need to enter it twice to make sure it was typed in
correctly.
The rest of the section is self-explanatory. It asks for information about
your store's address, phone number, fax number (important if you want to
receive your orders by fax), email (important if you want to receive your
order notice by e-mail), etc. You need to fill out all the fields.
Click on Continue.
You should be taken to a page where you can select what type of store you
want.
Note: If it takes you back to the same page, there should be a
message in red text at the top which explains why you were returned to
that page. Typically you just need to enter or correct something that has
been entered.
