Adding Merchandise

Now, an online store doesn't do you any good if people can't see what you are offering. This section covers how to add those poducts to your web page.

Just listing everything you offer could make things cluttered, so there is a way to group products by catagory or "department".

Note: You must create at least one department. Any products not entered under a department will not appear in your catalog.

For example, if you sell sporting goods as part of your merchandise, you may want to create a department called "Sporting Goods" to place all those items.

You can also create sub-departments to further organize your products.

Continuing the above example, you can create departments under the "Sporting Goods" departments. You could have sub-departments like "Golf", "Tennis", "Skiing", etc. In each of those sub-departments you would place the appropriate merchandise.
