Click on Build a Store.
It takes you to a page where it shows you what stores you may have
already created. Scroll down to the bottom and click on Setup a New
Store.
The next page shows you the different types of stores you can get. Select
the one you need and click on Continue.
The next page is where you enter information about the business. This info
will appear on the main page of your site (and possibly other areas). On
that page it asks for the following information:
Store Name
This should be the name of your business. It
will be what people see as the name of the store.
Store Description
This should be a description or advertisement of
what you are selling. (For example, "The most colorful widgets you'll
find")
Store eMail
This should be an e-mail address where a customer
or potential customer can contact you.
Store Category
This is where you select what catagory best fits
your business. Click on the triangle pointing down and select the
appropriate option from the list.
Click on Continue.
The next page allows you to select the general appearence of your site.
Select which one you want and click on Finish
Note: You can click on the image and it will bring up a
seperate browser window with a sample of that design. When done, just
close that window and continue.
Once the basic site has been set up, it will take you back to the listing
of stores you have. Your new store should appear at the bottom of the
page. Under each store are three buttons:
Back Office
Click on this button to add items to your online
catalog, change items, set prices, set shipping methods, check
statistics, etc.
Storefront
Click on this button to see your
storefront--what everyone on the Internet will see.
Delete
Click on this button to remove your online
store
