1. You will need a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) program. (For this tutorial we assume you are using the Fetch program.)
3. Go to File--New Connection. A window like the one below should appear.
In there enter the following:
User ID
Password
4. Click on Ok.
5. If the above info was entered correctly, you should get a window like the one below.
6. If you did the homepage setup, then you should have a folder titled "public_html" in the window on the left. Double click on it.
7. You are now in the directory where all your homepage files should go. To upload a file from your computer to this directory, click on Put File.
8. You should get a window like the one below.
In this window, navigate to where the file is on your hard disk and double click on the file. Like below:
9. When you double click on the file, a window like the one below appears.
Here you can select the name of the file as it will be on StarNet's computer. Also, the Format must be set to "Raw Data". If you upload the file as anything else, it will not work.
10. Once the file has been transfered, you go back to a window like the one below.
11. From here you can continue uploading the files as needed. Remember that you need to set the Format for Raw Data and that the file names are case sensitive.
Also note that the file must have the proper extension. If the file is a JPEG image, it must end in ".jpg". If it is a GIF image, it must end in ".gif". If it's a web page, it must end in ".html".
