DSL FAQ

Information for current StarNet subscribers getting DSL

Previous Contents Next

If you have an existing StarNet account, all of your current user names/passwords and other account details remain the same.

You will continue to be billed for your dial-up account until your DSL service becomes active. At that point your billing will be switched to the DSL rate (if there is any difference in the rate).

Any balance you have in the dial-up account will be transferred to the DSL account when it becomes active. This means that you will not pay extra if your DSL is activated, say, a week after you've paid for your dial-up account. The money you paid will be carried over to your DSL billing.
