A simple order/install timeline

We've tried to make it as easy as possible:

1. Request line qualification either by calling Qwest at 1-888-MEGA-USW or online at http://megawot.uswest.com. (If you order online, you need to specify StarNet as your ISP.)

2. If the line qualifies, then you can order DSL.

3. You should be prompted for what hardware package you want (either the Cisco 675 or Intel 2100).

4. You also have the option of having a Qwest technician install the hardware. This option costs an additional $145.

5. Sit back and wait for the DSL equipment to arrive in the mail and install it. (Or wait until Qwest installs it.)

6. If the hardware arrives before your line is converted to DSL, you have to wait until the line is converted.

7. Once DSL is activated, call StarNet DSL at 618-xDSL. We will then setup billing for StarNet, activate your Internet access, and (if needed) configure the Cisco DSL "modem".
