Once the network card (or Intel 2100) is installed, all you need to do is wait for the date when Qwest activates your DSL service. No one needs to come to you house, no new jacking is required and all the work will be done remotely.

Your phone will still work as usual and there won't be any service interruption. When the happy day arrives, plug your DSL modem into the wall, plug your computer into the DSL modem, and give StarNet a call to activate you Internet access!

If, by chance, the DSL service is activated before you have your DSL gear ready to go, you will still be able to use your telephone for all things you use it for today.
