High school. The time for growing and learning about oneself. Experiences of a lifetime. And, in the end, there is always the same thing that everyone must face - life.
Life with its arms wide open, ready to embrace our fresh new minds and ideas. Ready to welcome our new generation: the world where we are the future and will make the difference.
At no other type of four-year institution will someone grow from being an awkward teen to an adult. These changes don't just happen overnight, though.
High school is much more than math, English and science. It is learning about oneself and preparing for the real world.
In high school, students experience a colorful variation of feelings and emotions that are still in training. These emotions somehow take control of us through finals, popularity and relationships, just some of the things that high school students go through.
Yet it's how a student reacts and takes this knowledge to the real world when one knows if he or she has succeeded or not.
High school is the steppingstone for the future, and what is taught is priceless for the success that students will take with them.
Preparing for the future - whether it be college or work - is decided during these four years. This, for many students, is a very stressful decision that must be made.
Our future is something that we hold full possession of - everything is at our fingertips, and our destination is what we make it to be.
Many students are anxious to leave and experience real life, but what many have not realized is what they are wanting to leave so desperately is what made them and defined who they are today.
