They are our children, our grandchildren, our students, the kids next door.

Most of them are turning out just fine. But some of them - perhaps as many as 20 percent - have let serious drug use invade their lives.

These are the kids who clog the juvenile court system, drain resources, flunk out of school, and break their parents' hearts.

Who are these kids? How did they get that way? Those questions and what are we doing to help them are the focus of ``Young and High.''
