This is the third year that educators, community service organizations, parents and employers have nominated young men and women who are making a difference in their communities.
Some 1,100 nominations were received, and 760 students -- future scientists, doctors, artists, dancers, lawyers, educators, politicians -- grace these pages.
Homage is paid to their scholastic achievements, their courage in doing the right thing when faced with adversity, and their work to help better the lives of others.
