 This oil pastel is a drawing by Jessica Emerson, a senior at Tucson High Magnet.
Emerson is active in
her school's literary journal, Cactus Chronicle, poetry
club and anthropology club. She is a volunteer and youth
representative at the Tucson Jewish Community Center.
After graduation, Emerson plans to study abroad in Israel
while living on a kibbutz. In the fall of 1998, she plans
to major in art history and political science at Pitzer
College in Claremont, California. |
