Luis Goya Trovar is a Madrid school maker who was born in 1930. He apprenticed with Manuel Contreras, and worked for him from 1959 to 1976. He 1979, he opened his own shop. His professional classical and flamenco guitars use a unique system of external bracing of the back that eliminates internal back struts on the theory that they interfere with sound waves moving through the box. Like other makers, he also sells a line of factory built classical and flamenco guitars built to his specifications. |
