In response to the May 30 article "Unflattering photos of Lohan posted days after DUI."
By now we have all seen the infamous picture of Lindsay Lohan passed out in a car. She looks like she's in a coffin with her mouth open.
The only person who can save Lohan is herself. No one can do it for her. She had better get her act together before she becomes the subject of her own memorial and/or kills an innocent person with her reckless endangerment and careless disregard for others. If one must drink to have a good time, please do so responsibly. A party should be fun, not deadly.

In the interest of both highway safety and improving traffic flow, the time has come to restrict semis and other large vehicles, including campers and mobile homes, to the two right-hand lanes of our interstates and highways. Other states have done it. Why can't we?

In response to the June 3 letter to the editor "Restaurant is still offensive."
The letter writer thought that the term "Chinaman" is insulting. Why is that? How about Irishman? How about Englishman? How about Frenchman?
I doubt if a Chinaman is insulted. It is just a state of mind. Get over it. Chinaman is fine.

I find it hard to believe that the Oro Valley Town Council that we elect did not do more to protect our community. Why did our council, the mayor's office or city planning office not put guidelines or building permit limitations on what was acceptable and what was not?
I often hear Oro Valley being compared to Paradise Valley. I wonder if they would have approved a Wal-Mart Supercenter.
