Forest Service seeks public's input on Rosemont copper mine proposal

The U.S. Forest Service is asking for public comment on the proposed Rosemont copper mine in the Santa Rita Mountains.
A meeting is set for Monday at the Rincon High School auditorium, 422 N. Arcadia Ave., for comments.
Speakers will be allowed three minutes and will be required to sign in between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. The hearing is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
Comments will be recorded and entered into the Environmental Impact Statement on the mine proposal.
Comments also can be submitted to the Forest Service by mail, fax or e-mail.
