At least five people were injured in a four-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon on the South Side, officials said.
The accident occurred at South Park Avenue and East Bilby Road shortly after 4 p.m., said Sgt. Decio Hopffer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
Details on the circumstances of the collision were not immediately available but the Tucson Fire Department did transport five people to a hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Four others were either treated at the scene or declined treatment, said Capt. Norm Carlton, a Fire Department spokesman.
