A fire at a Catalina Foothills assisted-living home caused damage to many of the residents' rooms Tuesday night, an official said.
The incident occurred just before 9:45 p.m when a dryer caught fire at Carestone at River Centre, 5665 E. River Road, said Rural/Metro Battalion Chief James Stoltenberg. The facility is near North Craycroft Road.
According to Stoltenberg, 66 people live at the home and possibly as many as 39 rooms had water damage.
No one was injured in the blaze, which also charred a hallway, he said.
However, it was unknown exactly how many people would be displaced or where they would stay.
No other details were available late Tuesday.
