Miller gets airport management job
Steven Miller has been named director of business development for the Tucson Airport Authority, which operates Tucson International Airport and Ryan Airfield.
Miller, a veteran of marketing and operations jobs with Delta and United airlines in Dallas-Fort Worth and Chicago, has also held airport-management positions in New Hampshire and South Carolina.
Miller, who joined the TAA management staff Nov. 17, said as part of his new job he'll be looking for ways to encourage new non-aviation enterprises.
The Caliber Group names art director
Dave Goldsmith is the new art director for The Caliber Group, a Tucson brand-marketing and public relations firm.
Goldsmith, a veteran of 12 years at Tucson competitor LP&G, will lead design of brand marketing, advertising campaigns and visual aspects of Web site development projects.
Two staff changes at Via Eleganté
Jo Ann Wilson has been named resident health director for Via Eleganté, an assisted-living community on the Northwest Side.
Wilson, who received a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Phoenix, will be responsible for caregiver staffing and training, medication supervision and care plans.
In addition, Lindsay Lines has been promoted to resident wellness director at the assisted-living community, at 5644 N. Via Latigo, near North La Cholla Boulevard and West River Road. She had previously been an assistant director.
2 new law partners at Quarles & Brady
Attorneys Jeremy Lite and Gavin Milczarek-Desai have been made partners at Quarles & Brady LLP.
Lite's practice focuses on Arizona water law, environmental law, and real property litigation. Lite is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law and received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
Milczarek-Desai's practice focuses on national and international patent-prosecution law with an emphasis on biotechnology law. He is UA James E. Rogers College of Law graduate with a bachelor's degree from Bard College and a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology from the UA.
Lite has been with the firm for eight years and Milczarek-Desai for five years.
Roy Beagle joins mortgage company
Roy F. Beagle has joined Sunstreet Mortgage, LLC as manager of the Reverse Mortgage Division.
The division assists people over 62 in getting equity out of their homes with an FHA-guaranteed product.
Beagle was previously with Pima Savings Home Equity.
He is a member of the Southern Arizona Mortgage Lenders Association and the Arizona Association of Mortgage Brokers.
