Wednesday is the last day to file a 2007 income tax return for those who asked for a six-month extension. It's also the due date for those filing a 2007 tax return in order to receive the stimulus payment by the end of the year.
An estimated 94,454 retirees and disabled veterans in Arizona who don't normally file a tax return may be able to receive a stimulus check, according to the Internal Revenue Service. Electronic filing for 2007 individual income tax returns ends at midnight Wednesday.
