3 nursing assistants receive awards
The TLC Medical Research Foundation recently honored three certified nursing assistants and licensed caregivers at its first annual awards ceremony. The winners are Neal Freaney of Carondelet Hospice and Palliative Care, Manuela Perez from La Hacienda at La Posada in Green Valley, and Mona Peterson from Bayada Nurses.
2 form mortgage team
Nicole Connelly and Mark Mrozowski of Long Mortgage's Tanque Verde office have created the Connelly and Mrozowski mortgage team. Connelly has more than five years of lending experience and has been a mortgage adviser and partner on the Ford, Olson, Connelly mortgage team. Mrozowski has more than four years of lending experience and previously was a mortgage adviser for Charter Funding.
Small-business center has new director
Susan Kifer was named director of the Small Business Development Center for Pima Community College. She was previously a vice president at Desert Energy Credit Union and has experience in marketing, business development, business accounts and lending, budgeting and strategic planning.
Two join Doucette
Dave Ryan has joined Doucette Communities as designated broker/sales manager, the same position he held when he worked at Doucette from 1991 to 1999. Before rejoining the company he worked for Insight Homes Inc. and Coldwell Banker Builder Services. Ryan has been a licensed real estate broker for 22 years.
Also at Doucette, Jim Vance joined the company as director of construction. Vance has been a licensed contractor for 14 years and is a member of the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association technical committee. Before joining Doucette, he was director of construction and director of purchasing for KB Home.
New management team at social agency
A new management team has been named at Jewish Family & Children's Services of Southern Arizona Inc. Kathy Carrion is chief financial officer, Jane Singer is chief operating officer, Mar-gie Puerta Edson is chief development officer, Mette Brogden is vice president for refugee services, and David Romero is vice president for counseling services.
Adecco Technical names tech executive
Angie Lintner has joined the recruiting firm of Adecco Technical as a technical account executive for Tucson and Southern Arizona. She previously worked nearly seven years for a biomedical device engineering and manufacturing company in sales, sales support and customer advocacy. Lintner is an upcoming graduate of Prescott College.
Brown is new VP at DMetrix Inc.
Rodger Brown has joined the executive team of DMetrix Inc. as vice president of sales and marketing. He has 28 years of experience in international sales and marketing in the medical diagnostic industry. Brown previously held senior positions at ChromaVision Medical Systems (now Clarient), Ventana Medical Systems and Thermo Electron.
