Wilson new CFO for Girl Scouts
Trudy Wilson was appointed chief financial officer for the Sahuaro Girl Scout Council in Southern Arizona. Her responsibilities include overseeing finances and human resources. She started her career with Sahuaro Girl Scouts in 1990, and will receive her master's degree in management from the University of Phoenix in March.
Woodlock, Frazier elected to partner
Roger W. Frazier and Michael S. Woodlock were elected to partner for Gust Rosenfeld law firm. Frazier focuses on civil litigation, including appeals, personal-injury law, commercial torts, employment litigation, insurance defense and municipal law. Woodlock concentrates on general civil litigation, including construction, insurance law and real estate.
Roqueni TPAC grants manager
Ruben Roqueni was named the new grants manager at the Tucson Pima Arts Council. He is responsible for receiving and reviewing all grant requests for public funding. Roqueni has a degree in fine arts and ethnic studies from Evergreen State College in Olympia, Wash.
Lewis named life director to SAHBA board
Mark Lewis was named a life director to the board of directors of the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association. Lewis is the founder of Lewis Management Resources and has been a SAHBA member for 10 years.
UA's Angel given astronomy award
The American Astronomical Society awarded J. Roger Angel the 2006 Joseph Weber Award for Astronomical Instrumentation. Angel is a regents' professor at the University of Arizona and is on the faculty of the UA astronomy department and the Optical Sciences College. He is also the director of the Steward Observatory Mirror Laboratory and the Center for Astronomical Adaptive Optics.
Architecture firm promotes Mirto
Jon M. Mirto was promoted to principal architect at Poster Frost Associates Inc., an architectural planning and urban design firm. He has been with the firm since 1997 and has been the project architect on several award-winning projects. Over the next four years he will join architects Corky Poster and Marc Frost as a full partner in the firm.
Pendergast joins Internet business
Dawn Pendergast joined the staff of Anchor Wave Internet Solutions as Web project manager. She will oversee Web site development projects and coordinate the research, design, copywriting and technology functions involved in creating Internet sites. Previously, Pendergast was a media specialist at NewsTarget.com.
Eurofresh Farms hires builder
Eurofresh Farms hired Tucson-based Barker Morrissey Contracting to complete another phase of construction for the farms in Willcox. Barker Morrissey Contracting has more than 50 years of experience building office, retail, industrial, manufacturing and distribution projects.
Leahy to serve on grievance board
Pat Leahy of Realty Executives Southern Arizona was approved to serve on the Arizona Association of Realtors Grievance Committee in Phoenix.
