Livestock emergencies part of conference in Tucson next month

The Arizona Livestock Incident Response Team will sponsor the National Livestock Emergency Response Conference in Tucson December 5-7 at Marriott University Park, 880 E. Second St.
Presenters will include John Queen, president of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, and Juan Ramon Gonzalez, director of animal health for the National Cattlemen's Association of Mexico.
Attendees may participate in training exercises involving livestock emergency scenarios, at the Double Bar R Ranch near Nogales. Exercises will focus on diseases, poisons and cooperative investigations on the Arizona-Mexico border.
