A fire that burned part of a historic Tucson lodge Friday was intentionally set, a Fire Department spokeswoman said Saturday.
There are no suspects in the fire, which caused about $300,000 in damage to Ghost Ranch Lodge, said Capt. Tricia Tracy, a Tucson Fire Department spokeswoman.
Fire began in three places — one in the lobby area and two within a wing, she said. There were no signs of forced entry into the property, which was fenced in.
The lodge, which is on Miracle Mile west of North Oracle Road, has been closed since 2005, after more than 60 years in business. The property was sold to a new owner in 2007, according to Arizona Daily Star archives.
