Arizona's newest Indian casino, the Lone Butte Casino in the Gila River Indian Community south of Chandler, is to open Nov. 20.
The casino, south of Loop 202 near South Kyrene Road, will feature 850 slot machines, 24 blackjack tables and a 750-seat bingo hall. Lone Butte also has a high-limit gambling room where players can wager from $25 to $500 at blackjack or drop $5 or more in a slot machine.
Other features include an outdoor courtyard, entertainment areas and six eating places.
Lone Butte won't be smoke-free, but the 120,000-square-foot gambling hall has a sophisticated, half-million-dollar air-filtering system that pushes air up through the casino to control tobacco smoke.
The Gila River community also operates Wild Horse Pass Casino off Interstate 10 at Wild Horse Pass Boulevard; and Vee Quiva Casino, southwest of Phoenix.
Doors open for business at 3 p.m., after opening ceremonies.
