A Tucson teen injured while riding his bicycle Wednesday is showing signs of improvement a day later, an official said.
Eric Michael Sutton, 15, was leaving a gas station on the southeast corner of West Ruthrauff Road and North La Cholla Boulevard around 3:20 p.m., when he was stuck by a minivan as it turned off Ruthrauff onto southbound La Cholla, according to Deputy Dawn Hanke, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman.
Sutton was not wearing a helmet and was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
