1 Fraud was reported at 8:25 a.m. Aug. 15 in the 3800 block of East Marble Peak Place. A resident told deputies she applied for a Shell credit card in June but never received it. She said she got a letter from Shell in July stating that she owed $936.96 for gas purchases. She told deputies she recently received a letter requesting she send her driver's license information and her signature to a company. She said she was concerned about sending the information and was unsure if the company was sponsored by Shell. Deputies advised her to contact the credit bureaus and her bank.
2 Larceny was reported at 9:37 a.m. Aug. 15 near North Craycroft Road and East Center Village Drive. A woman told deputies she is the president of the homeowners association. She said someone had taken letters off of a sign at an entrance to the community. She told deputies several letters had been pried off. She said it would cost $550 to replace the lettering.
3 Fraud was reported at 9:20 a.m. Aug. 14 in the 5300 block of North Paseo de la Pereza. A resident told deputies the following: She had a voice message from a company in San Diego about a clothing purchase for $462.90 charged to her credit card. She called the company and was given the name, address and phone number of the person on the order. She cancelled the order and checked with her bank. She discovered another fraudulent purchase made in California for $495.92. She canceled the credit card.
4 A 23-year-old man was cited on suspicion of possession of marijuana at 8:11 p.m. Aug. 14 on North Swan Road near East River Road. The deputy stopped the man because his license-plate light was not functioning. According to the report, the ignition column was broken and the man seemed very nervous. He said his driver's license was suspended and the car belonged to his wife. Deputies found a plastic bag containing marijuana and a package of cigarette rolling papers in the cup holder inside the car. He told deputies he did not know about the marijuana. A few minutes later, he said his friends gave him the drug in payment for giving them a ride home. He was also cited on suspicion of driving on a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license-plate light.
5 A 19-year-old woman was cited on suspicion of driving under the influence at 11:32 p.m. Aug. 14 on East River Road near North Country Club Road after a traffic stop for reckless driving. The woman smelled like alcohol and her eyes were red. At first she told deputies she had been at a friend's house but then admitted she had been at a bar. She was also cited for underage drinking and failure to stay within a traffic lane and released.
6 Vandalism was reported at 2:49 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 8800 block of East Palisade Terrace. A resident told deputies someone spray-painted black letters on a rear panel of his travel trailer. He said the trailer was parked in the driveway on the west side of his house.
