Bashas' is the latest retailer to add mini-clinics to its stores.
The Chandler-based supermarket chain has entered into a long-term contract with MediMin Inc. to develop medical clinics inside Bashas', Food City and Ike's Marketplace stores.
MediMin clinics are staffed with certified nurse practitioners and physician assistants with physician oversight.
MediMin already has clinics in Phoenix, Peoria, Scottsdale and Oro Valley, with plans to open four to six more in the next 12 months. Bashas' is the second-largest grocery chain in Arizona, with more than 160 locations.
