Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico, Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York and former Vice President Al Gore are the top picks in our online poll to be the running mate of presumptive Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.
On the Republican side, Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, is outpacing the pack to be on the ticket with presumptive Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain of Arizona.
Huckabee supporters tell us that he is respected, trusted and is the "one who can get the conservative Christian vote and can speak eloquently to everyday people."
