Moreland and Arbuckle
• Where: Plush, 340 E. Sixth St.
• Begins: 9:30 p.m.
• Ticket price: Free.
• Upsides: Aaron Moreland and Dustin Arbuckle have spent the last decade turning the Kansas blues scene on its ear. The Wichita-based artists have been through Tucson before and bring plenty of electric, mojo-wrecking Delta blues music with them.
• Downsides: The duo is set to play the lounge when they deserve a chance at the main stage.
The Elastic No-No Band
• Where: Caffe Luce, 943 E. University Blvd.
• Begins: 6 p.m.
• Ticket price: Free.
• Upsides: The Elastic No-No Band is an indie act straight out of Brooklyn with a playing style akin to rock bands like Weezer. The group is led by Justin Remer and represents the type of national artist one can expect from Caffe Luce.
• Downsides: The Elastic who? Combine the band's low profile with the lack of free parking on University and that might just spell bad news for the No-No's.
