Last-minute tax filers will have until midnight tonight to drop their returns off at the main post office on Cherrybell Stravenue.

Postal workers will collect returns until midnight from customers who have the proper postage. The drive-through drop-off will be at 1501 S. Cherrybell Stravenue, with employees waiting in the center turn lane for motorists to drop off their returns.

All services in the main post office will be open until 8 p.m., and the lobby has automated services available 24 hours a day.

Officials suggest mailing tax returns earlier in the day and remembering to use correct postage. First-class postage is now 41 cents for the first ounce and 17 cents for each additional ounce.
